ICFE International Conference in the field of Education – is a highly respectable International Conference in the Field of Education, with a significant impact in the academic community. The Conference is organized almost every year in a different European country, by various prestigious European universities. It outreaches to the scientific community interested in broadening various educational topics at all levels, and fostering a broader discussion through networking (even via social networks), in order to promote cooperation and provide response to scientific challenges in the field of education.

Creativity, Art, and Learning in Digitally Transformed Education

In the context of accelerated digital transformation in education, educational systems are experiencing multidimensional changes that influence teaching, learning, and creative practices. Creativity and art are recognized as integral components of contemporary pedagogical approaches that support the development of critical thinking, innovation, and student-centered learning in digitally transformed educational environments. The 15th International Conference in the Field of Education (ICFE 2026) invites scholars, researchers, and education professionals from diverse disciplinary backgrounds to examine interdisciplinary approaches to creativity, art, and learning and to share research findings, theoretical perspectives, and empirical studies that contribute to the advancement of contemporary educational theory and practice.


Kreativnost, umjetnost i učenje u digitalno transformiranom obrazovanju

U vremenu ubrzane digitalne transformacije obrazovanja, odgojno-obrazovni sustav suočen je s višedimenzionalnim promjenama koje zahvaćaju procese poučavanja, učenja i kreativnoga djelovanja. Kreativnost i umjetnost prepoznaju se kao značajne sastavnice suvremenih pedagoških pristupa usmjerenih na razvoj kritičkoga mišljenja, inovativnosti i učenja usmjerenoga na učenika u digitalno transformiranim obrazovnim okruženjima. Petnaesta međunarodna konferencija iz područja obrazovanja (ICFE 2026) poziva znanstvenike, istraživače te odgojno-obrazovne djelatnike iz različitih znanstvenih i stručnih područja na razmatranje interdisciplinarnih pristupa kreativnosti, umjetnosti i učenju te na razmjenu znanstvenih spoznaja, teorijskih uvida i empirijskih istraživanja koji pridonose unaprjeđenju suvremenih obrazovnih praksi i teorijskih okvira.

Metodika književnosti: znanstveni status i položaj u hrvatskom odgojno-obrazovnom kontekstu

Zagreb, 27. svibnja 2026.

Pretkonferencijski dan Metodika književnosti: znanstveni status i položaj u hrvatskom odgojno-obrazovnom kontekstunamijenjen je znanstvenicima koji se bave različitim aspektima metodike književnosti te praktičarima, odgojiteljima, učiteljima i drugim dionicima odgojno-obrazovnog sustava koji književnost uključuju u svoj odgojno-obrazovni rad.

Cilj je pretkonferencijskog dana dvojak: prvo, namjera je razmotriti znanstveni status i položaj metodike književnosti kao znanosti u akademskom kontekstu. Drugo, želimo čuti dragocjene uvide iz prakse koji svjedoče o raznolikim mogućnostima korištenja književnosti u nastavi materinskog i stranih jezika te u drugim odgojno-obrazovnim kontekstima u kojima se književnost poučava. Posebno nas zanimaju pristupi koji ističu umjetnički, književni i međukulturni potencijal, kao i potencijal za razvijanje čitateljske pismenosti, kritičkoga mišljenja i osobnog razvoja učenika.

Stoga Vas pozivamo da podijelite s nama znanstvena razmatranja, iskustva i primjere dobre prakse te rezultate akcijskih istraživanja.

U programu pretkonferencijskog dana, osim individualnih izlaganja, bit će organiziran okrugli stol s pozvanim izlagačima i sudjelovanjem publike na kojem će se raspravljati o položaju i znanstvenom statusu metodike književnosti u akademskom kontekstu. Program će uključivati i plenarno izlaganje.

Radni jezik pretkonferencijskog dana je hrvatski.

Teaching Literature: Scientific Status and Position in the Croatian Educational Context

The pre-conference day Teaching Literature: Scientific Status and Position in the Croatian Educational Context is intended for researchers working on various aspects of literature teaching methodology, as well as for practitioners – preschool teachers, school teachers, and other stakeholders in the educational system who incorporate literature into their educational practice.

The aim of the pre-conference day is twofold. On the one hand, it seeks to examine the scientific status and position of the teaching of literature as an academic field within the broader academic context. On the other hand, it aims to highlight valuable insights from educational practice that demonstrate the diverse possibilities of using literature in the teaching of first and foreign languages, as well as in other educational contexts in which literature is taught.

Particular attention will be given to approaches that emphasise the artistic, literary, and intercultural potential of literature, as well as its role in developing reading literacy, critical thinking, and students' personal development.

We therefore invite participants to share their theoretical reflections, practical experiences, examples of good practice, and findings from action research.

In addition to individual presentations, the programme will include a round-table discussion with invited speakers and audience participation, focusing on the academic status and position of literature teaching methodology within the academic context. A plenary lecture will also be part of the programme.

The working language of the pre-conference day will be Croatian. When submitting abstracts, please indicate that your proposal is intended for the pre-conference day. The expected duration of individual presentations is 15 minutes. It is also possible to register as a listener.

The preliminary programme will be sent to accepted participants in time. Conference will start with the input of key speakers who will talk about the link between theory and practice in the field of creativity, art and education. At the conference there will be also plenty of time to discuss the key issues concerning the different topics in education.
